VIDEO: Moment of Crash of Russian Aerospace Forces Aircraft

The Tu-22M3 aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces crashed in the Stavropol region, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The incident occurred after the Tu-22M3 completed its combat mission and was returning to the base airport.

There were no munitions on board, and the aircraft went down in an uninhabited area. The pilots were able to eject from the aircraft. Three crew members were rescued by search and rescue teams. Currently, one pilot is still being searched for. The Russian Ministry of Defense has indicated that the preliminary cause of the Tu-22M3 crash in the Stavropol region was a technical malfunction.
