Indian Students Report: 'Haybusak' is Preventing Participation in State Final Exams

Foreign students at Haybusak University, predominantly Indian along with a few from Iran and Iraq, are expressing dissatisfaction as the university is not allowing them to participate in final examinations. This was reported by Hetq.am.

The Indian students indicate that the university decided to conduct a pretest before the final exam. After the exam, it was revealed that those who failed the pretest would not be able to partake in the final examinations.

The students claim that such a practice is unheard of at any other university, stating that only foreign students are required to take the pretest. They emphasize that they were not informed about the importance of the exam; instead, they were told, ‘don’t worry, this is just a regular test.’

According to several students, the university simply aims to collect money from them. Out of 360 students, only 140 passed the pretest. To pass the exam successfully, a minimum of 15 points needed to be scored out of 30. Those who failed were offered to take paid courses.
