Israeli Foreign Ministry Calls for 'Painful Sanctions' Against Iran
The Israeli Foreign Ministry has called for the imposition of "painful sanctions" against Iran, as well as the inclusion of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the list of terrorist organizations. This was reported by TASS.
Following Iran's attacks on Israel using ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones, there is a need for painful sanctions against Iran. "Iran must pay the price of its aggression, and the first step in this direction should be the immediate recognition of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which has carried out this large-scale terrorism against Israel, as a terrorist organization," the Israeli Foreign Ministry stated.
It should be noted that Iran launched more than 300 strike drones and missiles towards Israel from its territory on Saturday night, marking the Islamic Republic's first direct attack on Israel. Israeli Defense Forces spokesperson Daniel Hagari reported that Iran had launched over 300 weapons towards Israel, including 170 drones, 30 cruise missiles, and 120 ballistic missiles, 99% of which were intercepted by Israel's air defense systems. The Iranian Foreign Minister announced that Iranian authorities had warned neighboring countries of an upcoming attack on Israel three days ago.
