Three Witnesses Questioned in Jalal Harutyunyan's Case: Who Are They?
The newspaper "Žhoghovurd" reports that former Minister of Defense of Artsakh, Jalal Harutyunyan, appeared in the Syunik region court yesterday. A photograph has come to light showing him studying documents in court.
It should be noted that he attended the court session related to the criminal case against him. During the hearing, three witnesses were questioned, including a captain from the Tsor military unit and two soldiers.
Relatives of the victims had requested that the case be heard in Yerevan so they could attend all sessions, but the court denied the request.
Recall that Jalal Harutyunyan faces charges based on accusations that, while serving as the commander of the defense army with the rank of lieutenant general and being a public official, he demonstrated negligence during a state of emergency declared on October 12, 2020. His negligent behavior in fulfilling his official duties led to serious consequences.
