Road Closures Reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs

The Rescue Service reports that there are closed roads within the territory of Armenia.

The roads leading from the "Amberd" high mountainous meteorological station in Aragatsotn province to the Amberd fortress and the Karik Lake are closed.

A partial collapse occurred in the pedestrian section of the bridge near the village of Getapnya in Ararat province, resulting in the suspension of traffic on the bridge. Employees of the Road Maintenance Department have conducted delineation work.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to use winter tires exclusively.
