Any Presence of Azerbaijani Armed Forces Near Settlements Will Seriously Harm Armenia's Security

In the Tavush region, in settlements such as Azatamut, Kayan, Berkaber, Kiran, Acharqut, Voskepar, Baghanis Ayrum, and others, as well as along specific sections of the interstate road, we have conducted evidentiary work. This was reported by former Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan.

“The evidence once again confirms that we cannot allow any presence of Azerbaijani armed personnel near our settlements or along the roads. This would turn people's lives into an impossibility, grossly violate their rights, jeopardize their security, isolate settlements and cause serious harm to Armenia’s security. This has no connection to the determination of borders (demarcation or delimitation),” Tatoyan elaborated. “We will present the collected facts and details of the studies later.”
