State of Emergency Declared in Tyumen Region

A state of emergency has been declared in the Tyumen region. The corresponding document has appeared on the official website of the regional government.

Starting from 12:00 PM on April 8, 2024, the emergency situation has been imposed due to flooding. The boundaries of the emergency zone have been set within the Tyumen region, as specified in the document.

In connection with its implementation, specialists are expected to monitor the environment and make forecasts, clarify evacuation plans for the population, create supplies of equipment, and facilitate the bypassing of the population.

It is proposed that the head of the agro-industrial complex's regional administration, Vladimir Chaymetov, be appointed as the head of the emergency response commission. For the document to take effect, it must be signed by the regional leader, Alexander Mur.
