Red Cross Office in Occupied Stepanakert Relocated to Barda

The Red Cross office, previously located in the occupied city of Stepanakert, has been relocated to Barda. This was stated by Zara Amatuni, the head of communication programs for the International Committee of the Red Cross in Armenia.

Approximately 84,000 individuals forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh have already been registered at addresses in Armenia, with 82,000 having obtained temporary protection certificates for refugees. More than 1,600 individuals have applied for Armenian citizenship. Since the forced displacement, another 50 Armenians have been transferred from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia.

The Armenian Red Cross office reports that they are focusing on those who remained behind. Efforts are being made to maintain contact with relatives who have relocated to Armenia.
