Football Club Fires Mascot for Flirting with Fans

The English side Queens Park Rangers, which competes in the Championship, has fired its mascot for allegedly flirting with fans, according to The Sun.

The publication reports that the man, dressed as a black cat named Judy, had been dancing with fans and asking for their phone numbers. It is said that the employee received multiple warnings urging him to focus on his job and cease interactions with fans.

“Everyone at the club loved Judy. Some complained that he was engaging more with the ladies than encouraging the guys on the pitch. He would always dance with them and then try to get them to give him their numbers. Judy had been warned, but he continued with that behavior, and the club had no other choice,” a source from the team told the publication.

Many fans are unhappy with the club's management decision and are calling for the mascot's return.
