Three Dead, Two Injured in Major Accident on Armavir-Sardarapat Road
On April 4 at 23:34, the National Center for Crisis Management received a report about a traffic accident on the Armavir-Sardarapat road where two cars collided, resulting in citizens being trapped and a fuel leak. Rescuers were called to the scene.
Two fire-rescue units from the Ministry of Internal Affairs' regional rescue department were dispatched to the site. It was determined that the accident occurred at the 4th kilometer of the Armavir-Sardarapat road involving two 'VAZ' brand vehicles. Before the arrival of rescuers, one body was retrieved from one of the cars by local forces.
Rescuers managed to extract two more bodies and two injured individuals from the vehicles, disconnected the cars from the power supply, and closed the valves of the gas cylinders. The injured were hospitalized at a medical center.
