Photos. A Space Object Falls on a House in the USA, Breaking the Roof

A space object has fallen on a residential building in the USA. This was reported by BILD, citing NASA.

According to the homeowner, the object, weighing 1 kilogram, pierced the roof and passed through two floors of the house. Fortunately, no one was injured.

The object has been identified as space debris. It is believed to be part of an old battery casing that was ejected from the International Space Station.

It was anticipated that the debris would burn up in the atmosphere. NASA is investigating the incident.
