Man Shoots His Wife's Sister in Store and Then Commits Suicide, Leaves Two-Line Note

On April 3 at 11:55 AM, the police operational management center of the Tavush region received a report from a patrol group that a murder had occurred in a mobile phone store on Maxim Gorky Street in Dilijan.

At 12:51 PM, the ‘Dilijan’ medical center reported that an ambulance crew had transported a 36-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the head, who sadly passed away without regaining consciousness.

A forensic investigation team was dispatched to the scene. Through operational and investigative measures, it was determined that around 11:30 AM, a 32-year-old man fired shots from a Makarov-type pistol at his wife’s sister, a 36-year-old employee of the store, due to family issues, and subsequently committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with the same weapon.

The 32-year-old man left a two-line note at the scene. The documentation has been forwarded to the Dilijan investigative division. Circumstances are currently being clarified.

Previously, it was reported that an employee of the NSS of Artsakh had killed his sister-in-law in a store and then committed suicide.
