Last Survivor of Pearl Harbor Attack Has Died
The last survivor of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941 has passed away in the United States. Lou Conter was 102 years old.
During the explosion and sinking of the USS Arizona, where Conter served, 1,177 sailors lost their lives. The attack on Pearl Harbor marked the beginning of the United States' involvement in World War II.
