Telegram has begun its monetization process. Now, creators of channels with over 1000 followers will receive 50% of advertising revenue, according to the messenger.
To facilitate ad payments and withdrawals, the company will utilize the TON blockchain, which is reportedly not accessible to users in Russia, Ukraine, Palestine, Israel, and several other countries.
