The Number of Victims from the ‘Krokus’ Terror Attack is Increasing

The number of victims from the terror attack that occurred at Krokus City Hall has reached 382. This information has been reported by the TASS agency, referencing the Center for Disaster Medicine. Most of the victims have received outpatient assistance. Earlier, it was reported that there were 360 victims.

“According to updated data, 382 people have been injured, including 9 children. The majority, 217 of the injured, received outpatient assistance. Previously, 165 people were hospitalized, and out of those, 96 have already been discharged,” said a source from the agency.

Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova stated that visitors of Krokus City Hall experienced shock after the incident and did not seek medical assistance immediately. This is the reason the number of victims has increased following the clarification of data from medical organizations. The latest data indicates that the number of casualties stands at 143.

The attack at Krokus occurred on the evening of March 22. Armed individuals opened fire on visitors and employees. After that, they set the building on fire and fled in a vehicle. Soon after, four attackers were apprehended. On March 24, the court detained them on charges of terrorism by a group of individuals.
