Photo of ‘Dalma Mall’ Sent with Warning of Bomb Threat for Payment: MediaHub

A citizen who contacted MediaHub reported that two days ago, his 14-year-old son received a message on Telegram from an unknown user, offering a task in exchange for payment.

“At first he thought it was a joke, then they sent a photo of ‘Dalma Mall’ and said to call and say there is a bomb placed there. Naturally, my son excluded that option,” the citizen told the media.

“When I received the message, I called, but they hung up and wrote, ‘It’s better to send a message.’ I showed the sent messages to the adults in the house, and then we blocked the user so that they wouldn't continue,” the teenager added.

A few hours later, the user no longer existed on Telegram—they were deleted.

Auroranews was informed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs that no report regarding this incident had been received.
