Cause of Death of 20-Year-Old Pregnant Woman Revealed; Charges Filed Against Three Doctors at Medical Center

In the course of the criminal investigation being conducted by the Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee, significant circumstances surrounding the death of 20-year-old M.G. from Vanadzor in August 2022 have been established.

On August 25, 2022, a report was received from the Republican Institute for Reproductive Health, Perinatology, Obstetrics, and Gynecology stating that they had recorded the death of a pregnant woman who had been transported to them on the same day.

A criminal case was initiated under the characteristics of part 2 of Article 187 of the RA Criminal Code.

During the preliminary investigation, initial necessary investigative actions were carried out, including a forensic medical examination that revealed factual data indicating that on August 22, 2022, around 4:00 PM, the 20-year-old pregnant woman, feeling unwell, sought medical assistance at the Vanadzor Medical Center and was examined.
