Blocked and Difficult-to-Navigate Roads in Armenia

The Emergency Situations Service reports that there are blocked and difficult-to-navigate roads across the territory of Armenia, according to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The roads are closed in Aragatston region from the 'Amberd' high mountain meteorological station to the Amberd fortress and the Kari Lake roads, as well as the Berd-Jambarak road. The Vardenyats pass is difficult to navigate for cargo vehicles with trailers but is open for other types of vehicles.

Regarding the Lars situation, it is reported that according to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia's North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
