Altercation and Brawl in Yerevan: Most Participants are Minors
According to SHAMSHYAN, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan on March 23. On that day, the police department of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report from the 2nd medical unit in Arabkir that on the same day, a 17-year-old resident of Yerevan, identified as S. J., approached them with injuries sustained from slipping and falling due to rainwater on Hrachya Kochar Street. He was diagnosed with a "multifragmentary fracture-dislocation of the nasal bones."
The source reported that on March 22 at 21:10, a group of residents in Yerevan, including 17-year-old H. G., 19-year-old G. M., 17-year-old N. M., 17-year-old S. J., and 17-year-old N. A., along with unidentified persons, exhibited disrespect towards the public and engaged in a heated altercation with each other, during which S. J. sustained injuries.
The police are taking measures to identify and locate the unknown individuals involved. Relevant documents regarding the case have been prepared at the Arabkir police department and transferred to the investigative unit of the Investigative Committee of Armenia for Arabkir, where a criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident.
