The passenger on the Moscow-Yerevan flight who claimed there was a bomb has been "misunderstood." This was reported by the 112 Telegram channel.
The 56-year-old Yanina Voloshina was traveling to Armenia from Cyprus. After boarding the plane, she asked the flight attendant for assistance in turning off her phone. While she was attempting to do so, Yanina jokingly remarked, "Maybe there’s a bomb in it?"
According to the channel, the flight attendant did not overlook the passenger's words and immediately called the police. Additionally, the flight attendant felt that the passenger was behaving strangely and was excessively anxious.
No dangerous items were found in Yanina's luggage or gadget. She expressed regret for her careless joke; however, the interaction with the investigators took time, delaying her departure.
It is worth recalling that yesterday news emerged about a passenger on the Moscow-Yerevan flight at Sheremetyevo Airport who claimed there was a bomb in her backpack. It later became known that the passenger mentioned the bomb after becoming frustrated by the flight attendant's phone conversation, a source in the law enforcement agencies informed RT.
