19-Year-Old Suspect in "Crocus" Terror Attack Worked as a Barber
Tajik citizen Muhamadsobir Faizov, who is accused of participating in the attack on the "Crocus City Hall" concert venue, previously worked as a barber in Ivanovo. This was reported by a TASS correspondent from the Moscow Basmanny Court.
"I am not working now; I used to be a stylist at a barber shop in Ivanovo. I was laid off due to low pay," he said in response to the judge's question.
Faizov also noted that he is 19 years old and has no wife or children. The accused does not speak Russian and communicated with the judge through an interpreter.
He was brought into the courtroom on a stretcher, and he is missing one eye and has a catheter installed. Law enforcement sources informed TASS that Faizov resisted arrest.
The court is considering his remand in a closed session.
It should be noted that the Moscow Basmanny Court has remanded four individuals in connection with the attack on the "Crocus City Hall" for two months: Muhamadsobir Faizov, Faridun Shamsidin, Daleryon Mirzoev, and Saidakram Rachabalizod. The attack resulted in 137 fatalities. All four are Tajik citizens aged 19 to 32. At least two of them have admitted their guilt in court. They face life imprisonment under the terrorism charges.
