Counterfeit Dollar Found on Chief Specialist of Government Statistical Committee

Armlur.am has learned that law enforcement has taken the chief specialist of the management department of the Government Statistical Committee into custody due to the presence of counterfeit dollars on him.

Earlier, Shamshyan.com reported that an emergency incident occurred today, March 24, in Yerevan. At around 13:50, an employee of a bank branch operating within the 'Yerevan City' supermarket in Davitashen notified the police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia that a citizen had attempted to exchange counterfeit dollars at a currency exchange point.

The individual was taken to the Davitashen police department. Armlur.am clarified that the detained person is Arthur Kelechyan, who works as a chief specialist in the management department of the Government Statistical Committee.
