Vazgen Saghatelyan Arrested

Public figure Vazgen Saghatelyan has been arrested for two months. This was stated by his lawyer Arsen Babayan during a conversation with reporters.

“Unfortunately, as expected, the court has placed Vazgen Saghatelyan under arrest for two months. He is being transferred to Armavir Penitentiary,” the lawyer said. He mentioned that they are planning to appeal the decision.

It should be noted that Vazgen Saghatelyan and Narek Samsunyan were arrested yesterday. The Investigative Committee announced that criminal proceedings have been initiated against the two hosts of a program broadcasted on a YouTube channel for engaging in group hooliganism using communication technologies.
