Gagik Surenyan Announces When the Weather Will Warm Up
In the Republic, the abundant weather will persist in the coming days. During a press conference held in the Armenpress press hall, Gagik Surenyan, the deputy director of the Ministry of Environment's Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center, noted that precipitation in the form of snow is expected in Shirak, Lori, and the foothills of Tavush, as well as in the mountainous areas of Aragatsotn and Kotayk.
“In some areas, precipitation will be quite intense, accompanied by thunderstorms, during which there will be an increase in wind strength. On the afternoon of March 24, the influence of the cyclone will weaken and precipitation will cease, but on March 25, another cyclone is expected. It will cover the entire territory of the Republic, but the peak of precipitation will be registered in the areas of Vayots Dzor and Syunik. On March 25, several regions of the Republic will experience precipitation. Precipitation is expected to temporarily cease on the night of March 26 and continue until noon on the 26th. In the evening hours of March 26, precipitation is expected in most regions, and in some areas, it will be intense. After noon on March 27, the cyclone will gradually move out of our Republic,” said Gagik Surenyan.
