VIDEO: Residents of Voskepar and Baghanis Ready to Block Roads After Meeting with Pashinyan

Today, Nikol Pashinyan visited the border villages of Tavush Province that have recently drawn the attention of the Armenian public due to Azerbaijan's territorial ambitions and discussions regarding a possible "exchange of enclaves" by Pashinyan. This is reported by the 301 portal on X.

According to local sources of the portal, Pashinyan's reception was less than welcoming from the villagers. "They didn’t even rise from their seats upon his entrance. The villagers expressed concern about the risk of ethnic cleansing in their communities, drawing parallels with the events occurring in Artsakh. However, Pashinyan avoided directly addressing these issues. After persistent questioning on these matters, the villagers expressed determination to self-organize and prepare to defend their villages," the portal reports.

It is reported that they called on Pashinyan to ensure that the southern bank of the Aghstev River remains under Armenia's control, but Pashinyan admitted he was unfamiliar with the geography of the area in response to that inquiry.

Residents of Voskepar and Baghanis are prepared to block the roads, and as stated in the video by Voskepar resident Colonel Mihran Maksudyan, they are ready to take self-defense measures. After his meeting with the residents of Voskepar and adjacent villages, Pashinyan headed to Kiran to meet with the local residents there.
