NATO Officials Call for Preparation for Continued Tension with Russia

The Deputy Secretary General of NATO, Mircea Geoană, believes that NATO countries must prepare for several more years of tense relations with Russia.

“We must be ready for several more years of tense relations; we are defending our territory and allies by taking appropriate measures,” Geoană stated to reporters in Constanța, Romania.

He noted that the presidential elections in Russia will not affect the situation in any way.
