Photos: Major Car Accident in Aragatsotn - Vehicle Overturned and Caught Fire, Injuries Reported

Today, at 09:13, a call was received by the Crisis Management Center of the Regional Rescue Department of Aragatsotn about a traffic accident with a fire outbreak near the village of Sasunik.

A firefighting unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia was dispatched to the scene. It was found that at the 3rd kilometer of the Ashtarak-Sasunik highway, a Nissan vehicle (driver Z. Gh., born in 1992) left the roadway, collided with roadside stones, overturned, and caught fire.

Before the rescuers arrived, the driver and passenger M. A. (born in 1995) were hospitalized, where doctors evaluated their condition as satisfactory. The fire was extinguished at 09:27, with the engine compartment of the vehicle being partially burned. Rescuers closed the valve of the vehicle's gas cylinder.
