In the area adjacent to Tatul Krpeyan Park, 8 illegal constructions have been demolished and 4 fences dismantled, announced Aram Gyulzadyan, head of the public order protection service of Yerevan Municipality.

Referring to these efforts, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan responded: "In the same circular park and different gardens where we have carried out demolition works, I assure you, no objects belonging to poor people have been demolished. When it comes to a park measured in hectares and the demolition of various constructions within that park, we are unwavering. Here, no compromise is possible with us; it is only possible to discuss solutions for those individuals if they genuinely have housing issues."
