VIDEO: 'We'll Die, Come and Demolish Us Later,' Says Lviv Street Resident
Today, together with my colleague Pedro Zarokyan, we met with the residents of Lviv Street, who gathered in front of the city hall yesterday in frustration, demanding clarification on their issues. This was reported on the Facebook page of Yerevan City Council member Kristina Vardanyan.
'People have been living at this address for 40-50 years, they have been paying property tax for years, and have connected all utilities, etc. The residents specifically mentioned that two days ago, representatives from the city's greening department came, took pictures, and promised to present the issue well to the mayor. The official fulfilled that promise perfectly and at cosmic speed, the city authority proposed a solution in a meeting—clear the area, no residents, no problem... We will be consistent in addressing this issue,' she wrote.
It is worth reminding that Tigran Avinyan has instructed to remove all illegal structures within one week from that 26-hectare area.
