Video: Russian Man Arrested for Plotting Assassination of Tucker Carlson
A Russian national has been arrested for allegedly being recruited by Ukraine's State Intelligence to plot an assassination attempt against Tucker Carlson. Local media reports indicate that the man, originally from Podolsk, was apprehended on suspicion of preparing acts of terrorism.
He was allegedly planning to plant explosives under Carlson's vehicle during his visit to Moscow. It is reported that the explosives were to be placed under a car located in the underground parking of the Four Seasons hotel, where Tucker Carlson stayed from February 1 to 8 during his trip to Russia.
The suspect was detained in the preparatory stages of the plot, having not yet executed his plans. It is known that he has confessed. He was recruited by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine in November 2023. To successfully complete the task, his 'curators' promised him $4,000.
Tucker Carlson, who conducted an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin in early February, is confident that he is being monitored by U.S. intelligence agencies. He has stated that the oversight is being conducted by the National Security Agency (NSA). According to Carlson, the intelligence services leaked collected data to the New York Times to sabotage his interview with Putin.
