VIDEO: US Forces and Allies Launch New Strikes on Yemen

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces, in collaboration with British armed forces and supported by Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Denmark, the Netherlands, and New Zealand, struck 18 targets belonging to the Houthi rebels in Yemen on February 24 at approximately 11:50 AM Sana'a time, according to CENTCOM.

According to the statement, the targets included Houthi underground weapon and missile stockpiles, drones used for unilateral operations, air defense systems, radars, and a helicopter.

"These strikes are intended to weaken the capabilities of the Houthis and disrupt their ongoing reckless and illegal attacks on international commerce, as well as U.S. and British vessels in the Red Sea, Bab el-Mandeb strait, and Gulf of Aden," CENTCOM's statement reads.
