VIDEO: Sixth Career Title. Coach Calls Khachanov's Victory an Achievement
Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov has won against Czech Jakub Menšik in the decisive match of the ongoing ATP 250 tournament in Doha. The final match concluded with Khachanov's victory of 7:6 (14:12), 6:4. The players spent 1 hour and 49 minutes on the court.
The tournament's prize pool exceeds 1.4 million dollars.
Victor Yanchuk, a distinguished tennis coach in Russia, told RIA Novosti that Karen Khachanov has performed a small feat. “Khachanov deserves praise. One could say that he has accomplished a minor miracle. Such victories give confidence and stability, while his skill has always been sufficient. The question is not about the age of the tennis player, but rather how great his potential is, and how much he can improve,” said Yanchuk.
