Armenia is Not Anyone's Backyard, Says French Ambassador

Armenia is not owned by anyone. This was stated by the French Ambassador to Armenia, Olivier Decottignies, on his microblog. "Armenia is not anyone's 'backyard', but rather a friendly and democratic country, whose sovereignty and territorial integrity are supported by France," the ambassador remarked, commenting on a publication by Politico that purportedly stated, "France has raised its flag in Russia's backyard through arms supply agreements with Armenia."
