Armenian Constitution Reflects Claims on Azerbaijan's Territorial Integrity, Says Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry
The latest comments from Azerbaijan regarding the draft peace agreement have been conveyed to Armenia. This was announced by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during a meeting with Toivo Klaar, the European Union's Special Representative for the South Caucasus. Azerbaijani media report this information.
According to Bayramov, Baku is interested in starting a negotiation process in this direction.
It was noted that 'the Constitution of Armenia, legislative acts, international organizations, and courts reflect ongoing claims on Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty. The unacceptability of these claims was emphasized during the meeting.'
Bayramov also stated that the so-called 'latest provocation by Armenia' aimed to disrupt the peace process.
