Canada to Transfer Over 800 Multipurpose Drones to Ukraine

Canada will transfer over 800 SkyRanger R70 multipurpose drones to Ukraine to assist in its war with Russia. This was announced by Canada’s Minister of National Defence, William Blair.

The aid package is valued at approximately 95 million Canadian dollars (70 million USD). It is noted that the drones can carry payloads of up to 3.5 kg, including munitions. The transfer of drones to Kyiv is expected to begin in the spring.
