41-Year-Old Man Assaults Auto Repair Worker in Yerevan, Then Sets Vehicle on Fire
An extraordinary incident took place in Yerevan on February 15. Around 16:40, the police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received operational information that a vehicle was on fire near the "Green" supermarket in Noragavit, at an auto repair shop. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.
It was noted that another similar alert was received by the emergency services' "9-11" national crisis management center.
Police found that on the same day, around 16:20, 41-year-old Albert Z. from the Ararat region assaulted 26-year-old Mher G., an auto repair worker, at an auto service station on 1st Street in Noragavit, striking him with his hands and feet on various parts of his body, causing physical pain. Subsequently, Albert Z. set fire to a "Honda" vehicle parked for repairs.
Documents have been prepared regarding the incident at the Shengavit police department, which have been forwarded to the Shengavit division of the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
