Israeli Military Casualties Reach 574 Since Escalation of Conflict

Since the escalation of conflict in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli Defense Forces have reported a total of 574 casualties. This information was disclosed in an official statement from the military's press service. According to the latest data, a soldier was killed this morning during clashes with the radical Hamas movement in southern Gaza. Overall, since the onset of ground operations in the enclave, the Israeli Defense Forces have lost 236 servicemen.

The situation in the Middle East drastically deteriorated following the infiltration of Hamas fighters from Gaza into Israel on October 7, 2023, an incident that was accompanied by hostage-taking. The radicals dubbed this assault a response to Israeli actions against the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. Israel has announced a complete blockade of Gaza and has begun retaliatory operations against areas within the enclave, as well as in parts of Lebanon and Syria. Clashes have also been reported in the West Bank.
