Protests dedicated to the memory of Alexei Navalny are taking place in various regions of Russia. Police are dispersing the individuals who have come out for the demonstration. Reports indicate that more than 200 people have been arrested.

According to OVD-Info, 231 people have been arrested over the past two days during the memorial actions for Navalny across 21 Russian cities. The city with the largest number of arrests is St. Petersburg, where over 100 individuals have been detained since yesterday.

In Yekaterinburg, several locations have seen the word "Navalny" written on walls during the night, and in the morning, masked individuals were seen painting over them. In Vladivostok and Khabarovsk, police are reportedly collecting the passport information of those who came to lay flowers in memory of Navalny.

In Novosibirsk, several dozen people gathered at a local memorial site to pay tribute to Navalny, while a police van was stationed nearby. In Chelyabinsk, an unknown individual took flowers laid in memory of Navalny from a monument to victims of political repression.

A memorial service for Navalny was held near the Solovetsky Stone in St. Petersburg. In Moscow, police have been pushing back and detaining those who came to lay flowers in his memory at the mourning wall. Additionally, protests have also been held in other Russian cities.

The day before, the Moscow prosecutor’s office had warned against participating in the illegal actions and cautioned of potential consequences for involvement.
