An explosion has occurred in the vicinity of a defense enterprise in Biysk, Altai Krai. Residents of the Russian city reported hearing a loud noise and then felt a strong wave that caused the windows of their houses to tremble. Local Mayor Viktor Shchigreyev commented on the incident on his Telegram channel. The information comes from lenta.ru.

According to him, the sound was heard in the industrial zone of Biysk. “This is part of the technological process; work was being conducted by one of our city's enterprises. There is no cause for concern,” Shchigreyev clarified.
