US Congress Approves Impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary for Second Time

The U.S. House of Representatives has voted in favor of impeaching Alejandro Mayorkas, the Secretary of Homeland Security.

The lower chamber of the American legislature has decided the fate of Alejandro Mayorkas, who is accused of failing to secure the nation's borders.

It is worth noting that the impeachment initiative was presented last November by Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene. She believes that the secretary has “allowed about ten million illegal immigrants to invade” and has “willfully” failed to fulfill his responsibilities in protecting U.S. borders.

This time, 214 legislators in the Republican-controlled House voted in favor of the initiative, while the remaining 213 were opposed.
