Artak Budaghyan Appointed Commander of the Joint Forces Group, Arthur Yeroyan as Deputy Chief of General Staff
By the decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, dated February 13, Artak Budaghyan has been appointed as the Commander of the Joint Forces Group.
“Based on the Prime Minister's proposal, in accordance with the first part of Article 133 of the Constitution, as well as the first part of Article 35.1 and the first point of the first part of Article 37 of the Law on Military Service and the Status of Service Members, appoint Artak Budaghyan as the Commander of the Joint Forces Group,” says the document.
On the same day, in another decree, the President of Armenia appointed Arthur Yeroyan as the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces: “Based on the Prime Minister's proposal, in accordance with the first part of Article 133 of the Constitution, as well as the first part of Article 35.1 and the first point of the first part of Article 36 of the Law on Military Service and the Status of Service Members, appoint Arthur Yeroyan as the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, relieving him from the position of Head of the Yerevan Military University named after V. Sargsyan of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.”
By the decree of President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Kamo Kochunts has been relieved of his duties as the First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia. The corresponding decree was signed on February 13.
“Based on the Prime Minister's proposal, in accordance with the third part of Article 33 and the eleventh point of the first part of Article 40 of the Law on Military Service and the Status of Service Members, relieve Kamo Kochunts from the position of the First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia,” the document states.
