US Senate Approves Bill to Aid Ukraine and Israel
The US Senate has given final approval to a bill for providing assistance to Ukraine and Israel, with 70 senators voting in favor and 29 against. The bill is now set to be sent to the House of Representatives for ratification.
The proposal excludes funding for US border security, while offering a total of $93.5 billion for Ukraine, Israel, and other national security priorities. Notably, $60 billion is earmarked for support to Ukraine, $14 billion for Israel, and approximately $5 billion for US partners in the Indo-Pacific region, including Taiwan.
