It’s Time to Initiate Dialogue on Visa Liberalization, Mirzoyan
Last year was marked by high dynamics in the deepening of Armenia-European Union relations, and I am pleased to continue this path here in Brussels,” stated Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during a press briefing following his meeting with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.
He mentioned that the meeting of the Armenia-European Union Partnership Council was very productive, addressing numerous issues including reforms, interpersonal communication, economic cooperation, security matters, and the implementation of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement. According to Mirzoyan, the implementation of this agreement is one of Armenia's priorities, and Yerevan is steadily advancing towards its realization.
Mirzoyan highlighted several directions of bilateral relations, emphasizing the activities of the EU Civil Observation Mission and the development of cooperation in trade both bilaterally and within regional projects.
The Armenian Foreign Minister noted that Armenia has met all the required criteria, and it is time to start a dialogue on visa liberalization.
