Lightning Strikes Football Player During Match, He Dies

In Bandung, Indonesia, a football player from Persicas Subang named Septian Rahardjan has died after being struck by lightning. This was reported by the Detik portal. According to the portal, the incident occurred on February 10 at the Silivangi Stadium during the match.

After being hit by lightning, the 35-year-old athlete was immediately rushed to a local hospital. However, the doctors were unable to save him. Meanwhile, the VoiID portal clarified that lightning struck the stadium twice: the first strike caused no injuries, while the second, which followed literally within a second, was fatal for Rahardjan.
