Roads Closed and Difficult to Navigate in Armenia

The Rescue Service reports that there are closed and difficult to navigate roads in the territory of Armenia.
Until February 15, due to road repair work, the M-6 highway section near Vanadzor-Alaverdi, specifically the 38-40th km, will be closed for buses and heavy vehicles with trailers or semi-trailers. An alternative route will operate through the city of Noyemberyan.
In the Aragatsotn region, the roads leading from the 'Amberd' high mountain meteorological station to the Amberd fortress and Lake Kari are closed. The Vardenyats Pass is difficult to navigate for trucks. Drivers are recommended to travel exclusively with winter tires.
