You Are a War Criminal: Protester to Hillary Clinton

Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was forced to interrupt her speech after three protesters began shouting slogans and accusations during her lecture at Columbia University on February 9. One of them called her a war criminal and promised accountability for military conflicts in the Middle East and beyond.

“You are a war criminal. The people of Libya, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Palestine, and America will never forgive you. You will burn in the fires,” shouted the protester. As the protesters were escorted out of the auditorium, Clinton, who had been standing calmly with a smile, attempted to speak but was interrupted by another protester. Clinton continued, stating that shouting will not solve the issues.
