Fire Breaks Out in Storage Area Successfully Extinguished

A fire that broke out in a storage area on Tbilisi Highway has been successfully extinguished. The press secretary of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Narek Sargsyan, informed Auroranews that the fire was extinguished at 5:25 PM.

Earlier, it was reported that on February 10 at 9:40 AM, the 911 call center of the National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call regarding a fire in a storage area located at 47/2 Tbilisi Highway in Yerevan. Twelve fire-fighting units, two aerial ladders, the on-duty personnel of the Fire and Rescue Department of Yerevan and the regional rescue departments, operational groups of the National Center for Crisis Management, the on-duty team of the Medical Support Department, the on-duty psychologist of the Psychological Support Division, and the gas mask protection service vehicle were dispatched to the scene.

Citizens captured the smoke from the fire in the storage area from various parts of the city.
