Kim Jong Un Declares that South Korea Has the Legal Right to be Destroyed
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has declared that South Korea has the legal right to be destroyed after the country rejected attempts by Pyongyang to restore cooperation. This was reported by Bloomberg.
During the celebrations marking the founding anniversary of the military, the North Korean leader stated that Seoul's "puppets" have turned down collaboration and wish to "devour" the northern part of the peninsula. In light of this, Kim believes it is appropriate to label South Korea as the "main enemy," which provides a legal basis to "attack it and destroy it at any time."
Earlier, the North Korean leader had expressed his willingness to occupy the neighboring state if necessary.
South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol considers the actions of his North Korean counterpart a "provocation" and, in response, has promised to strengthen cooperation with the United States.
