Does the ruling party aim to hold Aliyev accountable? A response from a CP member
The Republic of Armenia has set a political goal to take action for the committed crimes; however, this objective is not directed against any individual or entity. This was stated by Arthur Hovhannisyan, the secretary of the Civil Contract faction, during a parliamentary briefing, responding to the question of whether as the ruling party they have a political goal to hold Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev accountable.
"As a goal, the Republic of Armenia has set the following: steps must be taken for all committed crimes. Which entity will be held accountable as a result of this is a legal question," emphasized Hovhannisyan. He stressed that the target is not formulated against any individual or entity; the goal is to punish those who commit crimes.
