The Constitution needs to be amended and made relevant to modern times. This was stated by Khachatur Sukiasyan, a member of the "Civil Contract" faction, during a conversation with journalists.

"You say that you need to look at something from 50 years ago from your grandmother and determine whether it's good or if there’s something better, but you respect your grandmother and say, 'I keep this as history.'
